Well CPU power has grown more than HDD and netspeeds overtime, so I guess in the end a little heavier algorihm wouldn't be so bad if it compresses well. Also for the purpose of backups, time to compress/decompress doesn't really matter as it's a one-time action... hopefully Tongue
