W00TW00T I'm posting this from ChromeOS
The operating system from Google incase you don't know it
*gets his mouse to work* Yay a reconnect worked. It sucked having to browse without mouse
Pretty neat actually, I can just login via my google account. If most computer in the world used this system, you wouldn't ever need to create useraccounts again!
Now running a speedtest for the system, but I don't think it's much faster than my computer
Chrome on my pc got about 270 points on the test, ah it's finished, lets see... 345, slower!
Chrome for WINDOWS beats ChromeOS =D
Also, the font is ugly actually. Nearly unreadable :/ They should really do something about that.
And the mouse moves kinda weird... Like reversed acceleration. Hmm I'll have to graph that:
NORMAL
Actual mouse speed (on desk)
| x
| x
| x
| x
| x
------------------------- Mouse speed on screen
Accelerated
Actual mouse speed (on desk)
| x
| x
| x
| x
| x
------------------------- Mouse speed on screen
What ChromeOS seems to do
Actual mouse speed (on desk)
| x
| x
| x
| x
| x
------------------------- Mouse speed on screenLastly, why the HELL can't I set the right time xD
edit: Rofl, GMail doesn't even work due a bug in the SSL (https=http-ssl) protocol xD (edit3: got gmail to work by just retrying lol.. stupid bug)
edit2: and sometimes its quite a puzzle to close dialog windows which aren't supposed to be there
edit4: I love tech forums with newbs. I put under 1 post "[offtopic: written from chromeos]" and i instantly get pms about "w00000t awsom! Hooow??" rofl.
edit5: Ah now i remember what I wanted to say! The scrollbar is nearly invisible :|
edit6: /me gets crazy from the freezes (edit7: or would it be freezing cause it has to load everything from my usbstick (a slower one of my collection)... well anyway i broke my edit-highscore, never hit 7 before
).
I should learn HTML5 actually so I can program for ChromeOS...
