Okay, messing a bit around with it...

Just compared it to god website (which imo looks good), and their forum is 330pixels smaller, and the menu another 65Px. So we have more than enough space

Hmm I think the menu is annoyying because our forum may be a lot larger in total, but the menu also is also a lot larger (while the space is not really needed). Will make it smaller (and I see it forgot to rename 'html block' to 'menu' )

My grandfather sees only like 7-10%, glasses don't work for him so he has a huge 42inch tv to see something. Is your tv even larger than that?

Also note the cat sitting in the middle there waiting for birds They are now gone because I was in front of the window but usually birds eat there and they don't notice the cat.. But our cat is kinda slow so he almost never catches something
